What we are
Sooner State Heat & Air is an independent Oklahoma heating and air conditioning resource. We publish plain-spoken guides to diagnosing, repairing and replacing home HVAC systems, and we help homeowners reach licensed local contractors.
We do not perform HVAC work ourselves.
What happens when you call or request service
- Your call or form request is routed to a licensed, insured heating and air contractor that serves your area.
- The contractor talks with you about what the system is doing and sets up a visit.
- Any diagnosis, proposal, pricing, scope, warranty and agreement is between you and that contractor. Ask for the work in writing before it starts.
How the site is paid for
When you call a number on this site or send a request, we may be paid a referral fee by the contractor or by a partner network that connects calls to contractors. We do not set contractors’ prices, and referral fees do not change what our guides say. Where the honest answer is a ten-minute fix you can do yourself, the guide says so.
Your information
Information you send through a form (name, phone, ZIP, email and a short description of the problem) is used to connect you with a contractor about that request. We do not sell it for unrelated marketing.
Safety first
If you smell gas or a carbon monoxide alarm sounds, leave the house and call 911 or your gas utility from outside before calling anyone about the system.
